The Solus outdoor Hemi fire bowl  36 is the flagship and the first fire pit Solus ever produced. That was  10 years ago when fire pits were just starting to show up in residential and commercial applications.  Los Angeles and the west coast of the USA is the hotbed of concrete fireplace applications.  Solus was one of the first to produce a fire bowl on a sustained basis.  Landscape architects and garden designers in North America almost universally specify some sort of fire feature in virtually every design and setting now imaginable. Having been in the business of architectural concrete for almost two decades we were smitten with the idea of fire erupting from one of our concrete bowls.

One simple idea sparked ( bad pun ) Solus into a the business of fire ( and then water ) and we now have a vast array of fire features and options.  We have successfully completed our UK and European certifications ( UKCA and CE ) for natural (mains) gas and liquid propane.  The Solus Hemi fire bowl 36 is a stunning focal point to any outdoor space is both substantial and restrained in design. It stands as an architectural piece or sculpture which looks as good off as on.

The Solus thin elegant profile adds an artistic architectural element to any outdoor space. At 16.5”  ( 415mm ) tall, the fire bowl creates an instant gathering place, providing warmth and atmosphere for relaxed conversation, al fresco dining or having outdoor time with the family ( kids love it ! ).

The standard Fire pit Hemi 36 is available with a mains gas/LP or bio fuel burner.  We offer manual lit and electronic ignition which produces substantial heat for any outdoor space.  Should it be a requirement for a residence,  hotel or restaurant an additional glass protective shield can be ordered. New for 2022 is the High Output burner for the Hemi 36 and 48 with 31kw of heat output.

The Firebowl Hemi is available in 12 Solus High Performance Concrete colours. Solus has also designed a custom hardwood  table top and all metal tops  (which can be utilised on those days that you need a table and not a roaring fire) and drinks ring.  An all weather cover custom fabricated for Solus is included (unless otherwise specified) which greatly extends the warranty of all Solus fire pits.
